Have you pooled assets?

If more than one person's name appears on a deed, title to a vehicle, or bank account then you probably have.

Does your property require the signature of two or just one partner for access or transfer of ownership?  If you are not sure, you should look into this.

Remember that courts will not make agreements for adults who could have done so on their own.  If you choose not to guard or protect your assets you should not expect the court to do so for you after the fact.
